The Weizmann Institute of Science has launched a new scholarship in partnership with the General Sir John Monash Foundation, with applications now open and closing on 14 July 2023.
The Weizmann-Monash Scholarship seeks applications from excellent Australian science students to continue their post graduate studies at the prestigious Feinberg Graduate School (FGS) at the Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel.
Conceived by Jillian Segal AO, International board member of the Weizmann Institute of Science and Chair of Sir John Monash Foundation, the Scholarship will be offered to either an MSc or PhD student, beginning in September and October 2024.
The program is aimed at matching global distinction at the Weizmann Institute with the best Australia has to offer in student applicants, while helping young researchers build networks within the world of science in Israel and around the world
Providing excellence in research projects in all scientific disciplines, as well as course studies conducted in English, the FGS educates toward international leadership in scientific research and discovery. FGS has established its reputation as a multidisciplinary centre where students strive to reach the highest levels of knowledge and understanding, under the guidance of creative and original researchers in the natural sciences and mathematics.
