After receiving the University Medal and graduating with First Class Honours in theoretical physics at the Australian National University (ANU), he was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship to undertake a DPhil in Physics at Oxford. READ MORE At the end of 2019, the Garvan-Weizmann Centre for Cellular Genomics held its first scientific symposium in Israel. This coincided with the Weizmann Institute of Science’s Annual General Meeting of the International Board where many Australian representatives were present. The visit was a great success, strengthening relationships and inspiring all involved. Some guests were fresh from Israel where the Weizmann Institute of Science’s 70th anniversary was celebrated in addition to the first Garvan-Weizmann Symposium.
